The property and staff at Alaia deserve all the praise! We spent 5 days/ 4 nights at the resort and had an amazing time. Our oceanview suite was amazing, the food/drinks were delicious, and everything was spotless! Special shout-out to Andy, Jessica, Juan, and Jermaine for going above and beyond for us during the entire stay. We will be back again and will recommend everyone stay at this wonderful resort!

Splurge for the ocean facing room with large private balcony. The full kitchen is also great. The rooftop pool is so lovely and everyone was incredibly helpful. My only recommendation is they turn the poolside music off at 9:00 instead of 11:00pm. Also Rose at the spa gives an amazing massage. Such a lovely resort.

Brought our family of 5 in March and had an absolute blast. Matthew at the front desk was so welcoming and helped with every little detail- including a first aid kit when our littlest fell and got a scrape. No detail was missed. Noe was also so helpful. Many more who helped us feel at home but cannot remember their names. Felt so welcomed from the first minute we arrived. Cannot wait to return. Everything was meticulously cleaned- beautiful hotel and wonderful staff.

Location is good. Prices way too high for what you get. Don't even think about asking for an extra water. Staff pretty disengaged depending who you get. My rating is based on value for the money.

Spent 7 nights here in February. Staff was the best part of staying here! The ratio of staff to traveler felt like we had more people here to help than there were guests. Hotel never felt crowded or busy even though it’s a fairly good size resort for Ambergris Caye. Location is great. We were close enough to walk or take a golf cart anywhere we needed to go. Fishing, snorkeling and food were all easy access. Rooms were beautiful, modern and comfortable. We did breakfast and a few other meals here. Food was great (but even the included breakfast package will still cost something after tax and tip just as a heads up). Loved everything about this beautiful resort, wouldn’t have wanted to stay anywhere else in Belize!

I absolutely loved everything about this hotel. The service, food, ambiance and staff were exceptional. The concierge staff (Lillian and Jamerah) made me feel welcome and at home. I traveled alone to Belize and they made me feel safe at all times. They arranged my transport from Belize City airport and around the island. I was in excellent hands. The numerous pools were beautiful and the room was very clean, modern and spacious. I will absolutely return.

Had a great time here for our first vacation since Covid started. The hotel itself was beautiful. Rooms were extremely nice and clean. The pool was great to relax by during the day and the staff was very attentive. The staff ensured covid protocols were being followed at all times (I never saw a staff member with their masks down or off). The food was good for this type of vacation. My only complaint would be that since the hotel was relatively dead during our stay one of the restaurants closed leaving us with only 2 options. However there are places to eat nearby in the city. Another issue for some may be the beach. When you look at pictures you see crystal blue water, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. The seaweed seems to be an issue and the water was relatively dark by the hotel. If you want blue waters you'll have to rent a golf cart and go to secret beach for the day (40 minute ride).You'll see tons of blue water on your ferry ride/place ride to the island so don't let that fool you. Besides that we had a great trip.

I have heard people say that Alaia could be anywhere in the world and although that is true to an extent, don't let that distract you from the fact that such a place is unique in Belize. It is beautiful, thoughtful in it's design, relaxing, chic and organic at the same time. The service has been improving and it shows everytime I visit, be it staying the night, staying somewhere else but having drinks at their pool bar or enjoying one of their restaurants. Matter of fact, The Deck restaurant is a new family favorite, we had dinner there just a few days ago and the wait staff was top notch and a compliment to the exceptional food. If food can touch your soul then their truffle pizza did just that to us.

Amazing suites. The grounds are very well kept. Poolside bar and food. Probably 2-3 employees per guest so you're always taken care of.

We had an incredible time at Alaia Belize! It’s an absolutely gorgeous property with extremely attentive staff that are always happy to provide recommendations on where to eat, place restaurant reservations for you, and organize complementary shuttles to take you to wherever you need to go in San Pedro. Make sure to say hey to Matthew at the front desk if you have a chance, he’s sure to make your stay special!
